Hi,
I've been looking at an original Colt 1860 civilian version, overall condition is Good though almost no finish is left and there are a few dings on the frame, the bore has strong rifling, the crown of the muzzle is intact, there's some minor pitting inside the barrel, but nothing critical.
However, the owner says that there's a play at the cylinder gap that I suspect is due to excessive wear on the wedge (on the photos it looks pushed inside the barrel assembly to the max).
Can this part be replaced by a current repro?
