Handled one at Cabelas that used Glock magazines. The magazine rocked forward and backwards after being inserted into the gun. When I asked the clerk about the play in the magazine he said they sell a lot of them do that.

I am not impressed.

I have had the 9mm model with glock magazine for over a year now. I use it mainly for plinking( have shoot over a thousand rounds through it). So far have added a red dot and a fore grip . The rifle is a lot of fun to shoot functions even when filthy. Recently had to tighten the castle nut and muzzle break, probably expected after that many rounds. Good value same mags as pistols more exciting than a 22, cheap available ammo. Works great for my needs , therefore don't regret buying it(except would have preferred one of the camo colors now available). The four different magazines I use all fit tightly in my rifle I use.

I own one of the 40 cal Glock mag ones and just received the 9mm conversion kit. I've been fairly happy with it. A nice way to plink and shoot the pistol calibers. It's AR-like, not fully AR as far as controls, assembly, parts, etc. But, it's a pretty good carbine in its own right.

I bought a Ruger Camp 9 way back when & love it , S&W mags fit made it a lot more fun then the 4 or 5 round mag it came with . Wish I had also picked up the 45 ,, most fun Carbine I have is a M1 carbine . What ever you choose make it a high quality gun Your going to have it a long long time>> great guns

What is the price tag?

What is the price tag?

I was all over their site,,,
I found prices for every part,,,
But not for any of their complete rifles.

Did I just not find the price page?

I found Just Rights in 9mm or 45 on Gunbroker for about $700 and my local dealer wants $1000.

I handled one last night and it does not feel like $1k to me.

I think I'd prefer an M1 carbine in parkerized finish or maybe the Ruger PC-9

is the Marlin preferred over the Ruger or vice versa?

I'd say brand loyalty would play a big part for an answer but realistically leaning towards Ruger.

The "PC" stood for "Police Carbine"; not "Pistol Caliber" as some think.

They use the same mags as the P series pistols so there's plenty available.

Ruger still makes parts for it.

Neither are cheap though. Id buy the Ruger but not everyone on gun broker will ship to CA even though the PC9 is perfectly fine in CA.

Also, I keep seeing $700+ prices and thats tough for me to justify. Theres a lot of things I can buy for 700 bucks!

All three of the simpler PCC's out there today are a little rough to run. Compared to the SMOOOOOOOOOTH Beretta Storm carbine the others kick, fart and generally jump around far more.

Which makes those WAY more fun than the boring Beretta. At least for fun filled plinking it does. If your goal is a defensive firearm or competition then the smoothness and lack of fuss with the Beretta translates to life and/or victory.
