My Grandfather recently passed away and my Grandmother gave me one of his guns. I am assuming it is old because it was my great-granfathers. I am trying to figure out more about it and any info would be great. It is a 410 single. Has a few markings on it (MADE IN BRAZIL FOR F.I.E MIAMI FL U.S.A) on the barrel also had a flower like circle engraved on each side with the letters ERA in the middle. I will try to get pictures on here just have to get the wife to find the camera :scrutiny:

I'M sorry Twig, unless your great Grandfather was a time traveler the gun is not that old. FIE was a importer that imported very inexpensive firearms. I would guess the date of import in the 60's or 70's. Value Less than a hundred dollars in excellent condition.

Thanks for the info I looked for it in gun trader guide could not find it he lived until 2002 was 100 years old. I was not concerned about the value just was curious thanks again. :)

Is the breakdown lever in front of the Trigger guard?
If so the most I could get out of mine was 75.00, so I
sold it.

That shotgun was produced by CBC/Brazil.

They have been marketed in the US by F.I.E., MagTech, Stoeger, and I am sure a few others.
They are currently not imported but are still being produced.

As stated value is not high but the guns are fairly well made and durable as long as your don't dry fire it.
They will spit the firing pins out in fairly short order if you dry fire the gun.
