The good news...I was given a revolver today!
The bad news... It needs repair.

I am a virtual novice to revolvers. I need help identifying this one to acquire a replacement part. The firing pin is broken. The firing pin part is held in the middle of the hammer with a hollow pin.

Here is what I know...

1. A medallion on each side of the grips says (IND NAC DE ARMAS BRASIL)
2. A tiger is engraved on the left side just forward of the grip
3. Beneath the cylinder on the right says (INA MADE IN BRAZIL)(F.I.E. Miami FLA)
4. (.38 Special) is engraved on the barrel.

Obviously this is a 38 revolver, but know nothing about the brand or where to look for parts. Is this a copy of a common major brand etc? Click on the picture links to see for yourself. Any help is appreciated.

Dunno about the brand, but I betcha a S&W model 10 or similar firing pin will fit.

Don't yell at me if it doesn't, though.:)

The tiger could be a jaguar or leopard. Other than that it looks similar to a Taurus. The model I just could not say. The hammer nose (the part broken) is similar to what S&W uses on most of their pre-lock guns.
