That looks to be a Wyoming Arms Parker 10MM as seen here http://www.bren-ten.com/website/id59.html beyond that I've never seen, shot, or handled one. Hope that helps.
Thanks praticaltactical. I saw one for sale advertised as a 1911 style pistol. It clearly wasn't a 1911. The price was fairly low and it was something I had never seen and was curious what the story on it was.
The Parkers had a lot of quality and reliability problems, which is why they're no longer produced. If you were considering purchasing it, I would think twice about it.
Parker/Wyoming was sold to Laser Aim, and became known as Laser Arms based in Little Rock, Arkansas. They didn't last long, and there are very few of them out there, but some had built in lasers.
I bought one in 10mm for $300.00 back in the 80's. Loose as a goose. Back sight kept walking until I dinged the slide with a cold chisel. It rode around in the seat of my pickup or in saddle bags on my horse. Shot coyotes and badgers out to 80 yards. Never malfunctioned in over 20 years.
Sold it to a feller that wanted it for his collection for $400.00. Under the circumstances, I can't say it was a bad gun, but I wouldn't buy another one.
