I have a sig 226 and although I love it, its hard to conceal. I have been giving some thought to getting a Glock 26 although I havent shot one yet, I was wondering if anyone out there could post a pick and give me some info.

Should I think about the 19 too? or is the 26 a lot smaller?

One more....with a grip extension how many rounds can the 26 hold
?

Good link

Click this link http://remtek.com/arms/glock/model/9/26/index.htm it has lots of good information about all Glock models of handguns, with pictures and so on. While I have never fired a Glock 26, I have held one in my hand. I found the pistol grip to be a little short and pretty wide for my fairly large hand. I'm 6' and 240 lbs. This model will hold 10 rounds, but I regular Glock mags, and extended mags will work in this model. If you decide to go with this model, and are concerned about magazine capacity, I suggest that you go to a gun show before the conservatives take all our high-cap mags away from us again.

Good Luck

I just played around with one of those in a gun shop today. I could get all three fingers on the grip but the back of the butt didn't stick to my hand right. It just felt odd, and I have small hands.

My G23 really locks into my hand, I don't think the tiny size difference is worth going to one of the 2-finger grip glocks.

Why not a model 27 instead of a model 26?I had both a model 26 & 27. I've never been a fan of a 9mm for self defense. The 27 & 26 are identical guns except for 40cal vs 9mm.I sold my 26 after finding my 27. They were scarce when they were first released.I have Trijicon NS on the 27,in fact the 26 had them too!

Ruger Redhawk

I had a 26 that I sold last fall. It's not a bad little gun, very easy to conceal. The one thing that I didn't like about it was that I was basically reduced to not having the pinky. What you can do, and I did, to solve that problem is putting Pearce grip extensions on the magazines. They make a world of difference.

Even though I have small hands, I found the 26 too small!
