I bought this the other day because it was on sale in the store, and I like the look and feel of it, as well as really liking the sheath, but I bought it "sight unseen" in the sense of no research beforehand - just an impulse purchase. I really like it - it's already one of my 3 favorite fixed blades. But are they supposed to be good, bad, or in between?:

The one I got is the tanto point with the tan colored scales & sheath. It's a nice size and balance for an all-purpose knife....has the serrations on the back, so that it doesn't interfere with easy sharpening of the main blade. It uses 154 CM steel with a black coating, and G10 scales. I got it for $99 plus tax.
