I fixin to get a Glock 19, and keep hearing that some Glock models that you can get a different barrel for different size ammo. I would love to have a 9mm and .22barrel with the same gun, but this sounds to good to be true.

I have purchased a Ciener 22 conversion unit for my Glock 17. Mine has been reliable with both Remington Target SV and Federal HV HP bulk pack ammo but experiences feefing failures with Remington Golden. The only difficulty is Ciener custoner service or the complete lack of it.
I believe Tactical Solutions also makes a 22 conversion unt for the Glock. I have the TacSol conversion unit for a 1911 - a magnificent unit in terms of engineering and machining which functions reliably with HV ammo.

I had a ciener kit for my 1911 and it worked great. I used federal bulk pack ammo with it most of the time and got failure to ejects every now and then. Good for malfunction drill training.

ou could give them a call and see.

And you'd likely get cussed out by John Ciener for calling him, if he answers the phone. He's quite the *******.

I'd AVOID going with JAC at all costs. Like I said: Tactical Solutions or Advantage Arms. They'll answer the phone- politely- when you call.

Tactical Solutions also makes one

that looks really nice and they have a great reputation...and people thought the Sig conversion kit was expensive. $350 isn't bad for the upper, but the $45 mags gave me pause

Yeah sorry about that JAC link, I didn't look much into it. http://donotbuyciener22lrconversions.org/ explains what most people have issues with, and it isn't just customer service, it's also that he sends out shoddy products and then states that it's your fault it doesn't work. I would avoid him and go with something else after doing a little homework.
