Just wanted to notify you of some upcoming pistol classes I'll be assistant instructing in the Atlanta area.
Saturday April 19:NRA Basic Pistol, 8am-6pm, tuition $100. Includes range fees, all ammo and firearms use, eye & ear protection if needed. This course is intended for new shooters to learn solid fundamentals they can build on.
Students will learn things like: how to safely operate a variety of pistols, ammunition, cleaning and storage. A certificate will be awarded to every attendee that completes the course satisfactorily. The student to teacher ratio will be no more than 5:1.
Sunday, May 4: NRA Personal Protection, 8am-6pm, tuition $100. Includes range fees and eye & ear protection if needed.
You will need to provide your own pistol, holster, spare ammo carrier and ammo although limited rentals are available. This course is the next phase in the NRA program and is intended to further develop the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe use of a handgun for self-protection.
It also provides information on a citizen’s right to self-defense. The student will need to provide their own firearm and ammunition. A certificate of training will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the course. Student/instructor ratio will be no more than 5:1.
Prerequisite to Personal Protection: Basic pistol, equivalent training or pre-course evaluation test.
