I been thinking, sometimes not a good idea but. Thinking I want a .300 wsm, then got off onto the idea of a rechamber. If I go to the .300 WSM I'd have made my 1983 m77 international .308 just a safe queen. This rifle in this caliber would make a great Elk rifle for the country we hunt. Does anyone know if a pre "84" Ruger m77 could handle the pressure increase of a rechamber to the .300 WSM? Does anyone know a smith in the Pac NW who would do this for me? Thanks in advance for any ideas, R

It can be done.
the bolt face needs to be opened up for the larger cart.
If you want it to feed the magazine and feed ramp need to be altered.
It will have 2 shot capacity in the magazine.
