I have a Beretta Neos that the trigger stopped working on. I could probably monkey around with it but it is less than a year old so I want to send it in. I have gotten conflicting responses when I have asked about shipping it. I do not have a FFL01, do have a C&R which doesn't apply to this item. Not looking to get around anything, want to do what is required without spending more than necessary.

Also, what about when they ship it back? Does it have to go to a dealer?

Thanks in advance.

You can ship it, but you have to use a "common carrier", which is a service like FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Expect it cost you cost you in the $50-$60 range. You cannot use regular USPS without an FFL (although you can ship long guns by mail...go figure!)

DHL does not ship guns for American Commoners, maybe not any American.

Hereabouts the Fedex agent is more cordial about ripping me off than the UPS clerks, but that can vary by location. You must go to a hub, contractors and storefronts will not take guns.
