Can Rigarmi Parts be Used in Galesi Pistols and Vice Versa

Is there anyone who has been able to use Rigarmi parts for a .25 ACP six-round magazine semiautomatic in a similar Galesi? I have a partial Rigarmi frame and some internals and some extra Galesi parts and before I start taking down the Rigarmi and see if the Galesi parts fit I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this. From a quick visual inspection the two slides are identical, and the Galesi slide looks like it would fit exactly on the Rigarmi frame. Are these just approximately the same pistol or were they made on the same machines? I ask the latter because as best I can find out (there are several slightly different stories on the net) Galesi was the original company then a son (?) left and set up Rigarmi sometime in the fifties. It just isn't clear if Rigarmi was a completely separate factory or if the Rigarmi models were produced in the same factory.

Thanks for any help.

I wasted so much time getting my Galesi/ Rigarmi .22 Long to function reliably. Got 80% reliability after a few hundred hours time and research. Here is what you need to know : The .25acp Galesi/Rigarmi are much more reliable than the .22 short or long versions .
To get parts that match on ebay or anywhere else you must research both Galesi models that match with Rigarmi models that appear identical in characteristics , there are no "what fits what charts" . GunParts Corp (Numrich) has some parts. Beware of aftermarket magazines, never found any that worked.
