Can the 50 BMG, 416 Barret, 408 Chey Tac, etc, be considered shoulder fired rifles??

I just finished watching "First Blood", and Rambo DEFINITELY never fires from the shoulder... and who can blame him, in a world of belt-fed machine guns that never actually run dry?
