Can yall help with a paint sceeme?

I found this pic the other day and just would die to do my rifle like this, but since I have never painted one im kinda lost, what yall think?
any idea on the colors, or how to get that look?

Looks like a base of tan/coyote...topped with a coat of O.D. and then some light brownish stuff with some type of grass/feather for stenciling.

I've been thinking about doing this on my Savage 110's plastic stock (if I don't just replace it). Do I need to use a primer for the paint to stick to the plastic?

Olive drab=greenish color

I guess I see more of a grey base coat (coyote) with some OD and brown patterning, but I could be wrong. (didn't see much tan)

As far as getting that effect, look into Dura-Coat . Lauer - the link is in the second post. They sell the paints, stencils, and have a basic method CD that you can purchase that gives some instruction on the how to .
