Can you put a suppresor on a revolver?

Ranb, it seems like the Russians have a tendency to call ANY silencer on a handgun a "Bramit device" (after the "Mitin Bratny", or "Mitin Brothers", the Russian brothers and inventors who were the first to popularize suppressors on pistols). They tried a number of different designs, and I've got a couple of books showing some of their suppressors mounted on various pistols. I'll scan them and post them for you tonight after work. HTH.

Well, that is not what I was expecting. :) I guess what I need is to make something that looks authentic, but put modern internals in it. I certainly do not want to use wipes or mesh if that is what was used in the original. Thanks for the help.

Ranb, the best pictures I've been able to find yet of what is supposed to be the adopted/most-produced version of the Bramit device can be seen at the top of http://talks.guns.ru/forum/36/250483.html ; most of the descriptions I've been able to find say that it was a fairly simple multi-chamber design, but some make specific mention of rubber wipes. Anyway, I hope this helps.

That is a small sucker isn't it? I bet it barely stops the shooters ears from ringing when used indoors hahahahha. Thanks.
