I just wanted to update everyone regarding Century’s (Canik’s) Customer Service.

I contacted Century about the canted rear sight on Saturday (a non-business day).

A representative replied on Monday (the first business day) morning and requested a few documents (a form, a copy of my drivers license, and my receipt) needed to send the firearm to/from the manufacturer. I emailed those items on Monday evening.

This morning (Tuesday), the representative provided a return number, a prepaid shipping label, and easy-to-follow instructions on how to package and return the pistol.

So far, the customer service has been excellent. I’m not sure why they opted to have me return the entire gun for an issue related to the rear sight, but they’re paying for the shipping both ways and it’s not as if I can use the gun without the slide so it’s not that big a deal.

I’ll provide updates and let everyone know how things ultimately turn out, but for now, Century seems very responsive and professional in their handling of Canik products.

I received the pistol back from Century. They fixed the canted sight. I am pleased with their customer service.

I shipped it to them on 5 Oct and I had it fixed and back in my hands on 18 Oct.

I think they handled everything professionally and promptly.

I've never had to send one back, but good to know.
