I shoot a 686-4 and jump back and forth between 38 Specials and 357s. I know, lite loads while we are short on supplies but I seem to shoot a heavier load better. 6 grains Unique in a 38 Special case with either a 358477 or 358429 is pleasant and accurate. But I just had to try 12 grains 2400 with the 358429 in the 38 case and really liked that to. The 358477 is just about my favorite bullet except...
it is a one hole mould and my 358429 is a 2 holer. someone needs to take away all of my toys except one then maybe I could learn to shoot it. Being almost out of 2400, it's not hard to stick with 6 grains of Unique besides the extra 100 fps is hardly worth another 6 grains of powder.
Boy, life is rough when you don't have anything else to do besides hunker down from Covid.
P.S. I get my second Covid shot tomorrow.
