Canted back up sights on an AR 15

I am looking to pick up some canted AR 15 sights and I was wanting to know, are the flip ups as solid as fixed when it comes to these? Just curious.

Think about this, first.

we often don't get to choose which side of cover we must fire around. Canted sights cant be used from the weak side shoulder. If you fire right handed around the left side of cover with a longarm, it exposes your entire torso to enemy fire.

They should be. Are you talking about using the offset mounts and mounting the flip-up BUIS on them?
