I was wondering if they make a capper for #10 primers, and also if anyone knows where to buy some silicon primer covers for water protection of the primer while its on the nipple? Bought some awhile back but can't find them anymore. I want to try them to help keep the caps on my walker so they don't keep falling off.

Just get new nipples on the Walker. I just bought a Walker last week and the Remington #10's I use on the Dragoon and 1849 pocket, fall off the Walker.
I ordered Treso AMPCO nipples from possible shop, part number 11-50-13. These take Rem #10's very well.
As far as cappers, I use #10's in my Ted Cash pistol "snail" cappers.

The Remington caps, both 10s & 11s, fit well in my Ted Cash in-line capper. I understand (though I don't know for sure myself; I've just been told this) that the CCI caps are a little taller and tend to jam more in the capper, especially the no. 11s.

cap heights:
CCI #10..............0.160"
CCI #11..............0.162"
Remington #10....0.168"
Remington #11....0.145"
RSW #1075.........0.154"

Well, there ya' go! Don't believe everything you're told! Though, when I place them side-by-side, the Remington #11s don't appear to be .020 shorter than the #10s... Will do some measurements of my own today and get back to you.

J.T. - I've about given up trying to characterize the various cap sizes and shapes. About the only thing one can say that applies across the board is that there is no, repeat NO, consistency from one brand to another or even within brands. I would not be surprised one bit if you found some #11 Remingtons that were TALLER than #10 Remingtons. Or CCI's that were shorter. It's a crap shoot out there.

Mykeal, you're absolutely right. Measuring from two different tins of Remington #10s I got an average reading of .182 from one tin and .145 from the other, and you're evidently getting yet another measurement from yours, so go figure. I didn't even bother looking at the #11s after I came up with these results. I only use Remington caps, so I don't know how this plays out with CCI and the rest, but I'll take your word for it. I didn't realize that there was this much variation within the same brand before. Thanks for prompting the experiment.

I guess the bottom line is that all of the caps I have used seem to work well with the in-line capper, no matter what size they are. The capper really works to make life easier, and I highly recommend getting one...
