Well I thought I'd post a picture of one of my favorite shooting spots on BLM and the carnival setup.

It's about 10 minutes from the house and a good place to shoot. In the summer you have to get there early otherwise it will be taken and you have to go to one of the "alternate" spots.

Anyway I put this setup together and call it the carnival shoot. Easy to set up and only takes a few minutes to be blasting.

Parts are simple, 2X4 sawhorse stand brackets and some 2X4 legs and two 2X4 X 6ft strechers bolted together in the middle with a carrage bolt. The sticks are 1/2" dowels with clothespins glued on. So when they get shot, just shorten them and glue on a new clothespin.

Lots of stuff to shoot at. This trip it was bowling pins, clay rabbit targets, tennis balls, golf balls and baloons.

I took a friend and his 13 year old son this trip. His son shot the 10/22 with suppressor, no need to say he had a grin from ear to ear :D

This is one of the things I liked about living in Nevada. No need to join a range, because you could just pick a direction, drive out of town a couple of miles, and set up targets. :D

BTW, nice setup.
