Fanny pack w/Glock 27 or Kahr MK-9. Small forest green pack. If people ask what's in it I tell them I've had my personal items stolen from the locker room at other health clubs before. I few nod and even ask where they can get one.

Since I work for a health club & I'm in one of many several times a day, I'd say "YES"
Now, while working out is another question. Answer to that one is usually NO

Every time!

Fanny pack with an HK behind the MP3 player.

Is it a good idea? With all the metal equipment, aren't the shots more likely to bounce off and injure a innocent bystander? Maybe you'd be better off throwing weights at the BG ;-)

if we were strong enough to throw weights at the bad guy, we wouldnt need to be in the gym in the first place. :D

I normally just carry a folder. I'm looking into getting a...a...a...a dang mousegun just for that purpose.

HS/LD- Does the fanny pack bounce up and down too much? And if you're lifting, does it get in the way?

Get a NAA .22 and try kiester carry. A good cork or perhaps duct tape as a safety strap. SuperGlue if you are going on a treadmill. You can never be too tactical.:D

To the health club - Yes! While working out - No? We have private lockers that are really stout and lockable. Safer, IMHO than leaving the gun in a locked car. Good shooting:)
