As much as I hate to agree with anything Clark posts, in the thread you referenced rc, he's correct. His posted data from the older manuals is for 2400 powder, but his suggested load is for Win. 296/H-110, and that's the suggested load from Hodgdon in their Basic Reloaders Manual, 2008.

I normally don't read his posts, since I consider him "over the edge" in most things, and as mentioned by Don, he can be dangerous to the uninformed, which is why he was banned for a period of time.
