I am thinking of buying one the Cavalry Arms MK2 lowers and a Bushy superlight upper to make a fun range gun. Has anyone got an AR with the Cavalry Lower, how has it worked (or not), and if you have a pic please send it.
We have Cav Arms Mark 1 lower with a customized bushy dissipator upper. I like it alot. Makes for a fun lightweight rifle. Have not had any troubles at all with ours. Probably has a couple thousand rounds through it now and is at least 5 years old. Cleans up nice, could have made for a very inexpensive build save for the money thrown into the upper and optics.
I cannot recommend Cav Arms enough. They are great people and they probably have the best warranty in the market. You will be very happy with them.
A good friend built an AR with the Cav Arms lower and a light weight (pencil) barrel as a light weight patrol carbine. Thing weighs less than 5 pounds unloaded, and a little less than 6 loaded. REAL NICE!
I've got a CavArms MkII
I just put a cheapie Colt HBAR 20" on it
works great, pretty light and it shoots fine.
Trigger needs a little help (a wee gritty)
but it's light and works fine.
