I was sorting thru some .45 A.C.P. brass I picked up at a public range. I noticed that the primer pockets on CCI brass were a lot cleaner than primer pockets on other brands of brass. Didn't seem to matter if the brass appeared to be once fired or grungy. Anyone have an idea on why this is. Cleaner powder, different primer material, brass construction? Just curious.

The Blazer Brass cases are made with a different process than other brands.
I have noticed that the brass seems to be a slightly different colour but it does seem to be just as strong.

I have also noticed through the years that some factory ammo has more or less residue in the pockets than others.
