Wife and I have CCP's in Missouri. We may move to Florida. Will we have to start all over there and do it again?

Probably. According to handgunlaw.us, Florida only accepts permits from other states for residents of that state.

You should check to see if FL has any kind of grace period for people like you. It is generally true that FL only takes resident out-of-state permits, but if FL doesn't consider you a resident (because you haven't lived there long enough to establish residency) they might still consider you a "resident" of MO.

It's a bit of a hair-split. Do not base your final decision on anything the cops tell you (if you decide to ask them). Speak to a lawyer, or try to get a formal AG opinion.

Good luck!

Apply for your Florida license now. Florida requirements are the same for residents or non-residents. When you move here you only need to report a change of address. The address is not even printed on the license.

I think Alland has the right idea. Getting a non-resident Florida permit is pretty straight forward; and since it's honored in so many States it's handy to have in any case (I have one).

Then, if/when you move to Florida, you'll be covered.

It is on mine.. I don't know if I would be issued a new one with an updated address on it, though, if I moved within the state, as I have not moved since I got it.
To the OP, if your Missouri permits required training sessions, you will likely be permitted to use those training records (or other qualifying records you may have used) to meet the training requirements for the Florida license.
