CDNN Ammo Liquidation

CDNN is great for buying discontinued new guns, magazines, and some lower end optics. I've never considered them competitive on ammo and honestly it makes sense for them to drop out of that business. Have to agree these sales prices for ammo are not exactly competitive with other sites, much less "liquidation" levels.
 
I haven't bought much new ammo for several years. I didn't know what is considered a sale price.
 
Their sale price exceeds SG Ammo regular price and very limited selection. 20 cents for aluminum cased 9mm for example.
 
IF this is due to the lucky gunner suit, we could be in trouble. Bloomberg poison could shut down online ammo sales. Which I’m certain is their actual motive.

Gander pulled that crap when they closed. I wanted a new pair of Guide series bibs and they covered the original price with a sale price sticker of the same original price. They did this with everything in the store. I would see multiple items priced higher and then put on sale for what would be normal price or just say sale and its the same price it always was.
 
Now what could be wrong with a semi-annual going out of business sale? These days most are well aware of the best prices on most goods long before they make a purchase...
 
$4.75 "Adult Signature required" frosted it for me. After 3 tries FedEx will ship it back, since it's ground you better be there. Ground comes to my house 12:45 pm, within 10 minutes either way. I couldn't get here till 3 so I had to take a sick day or lose the ammo. No loss. Joe
 
They've been doing this clearance since january if I remember correctly. At those prices and uncommon calibers, they'll be doing it till next January.
 
Cdnn and target sports are 2 halves of the same company. Target sports isnt stopping sales of any kind.
 
My best guess is that was part of restructuring due to lower demand overall when the decision was made at the start of the financial quarter. Noone saw covid coming.
 
The A-17 at $40 for 4 boxes is a good price, but throw in the Haz-Mat and it is no longer a bargain. The other prices were SSDD.

Sounds like they're actually just trying to clear out odds and ends by using a "liquidation sale" phrase.

I did not know this. I never would have suspected it with one being in Texas and the other in Connecticut. That’s an interesting corporate structure.
