I got my first order back from CDNN and the mags I ordered for my P2000SK 9mm ($19.99) came without the finger rests on them. The picture online portrayed the finger rest and not the flat bottom. I ordered 3 and got 3 flat bottom mags. Is this how CDNN works?? Do I need to call and verify this in the future? I notice they also have .40 cal P2000SK mags for $39.99 pictured with the finger rest. I wonder what these ones really are also.

I replied with concerns by e-mail yesterday and am waiting a response. I will call tomorrow if I don't hear.

Anyone else have this happen?

Mistakes happen. Give them a call and it'll get resolved much faster than by Email.

I once relieved a mag pouch instead of the mag I ordered. Called, and I sent the pouch back and they sent out the correct mag. No hassles beyond a trip to the Post Office.

They're a bunch of cowards, bending to the will of the anti-gunners. They get none of my money. The fact they misrepresent products or improperly fill orders is a good reason not to order from them too.

Same thing happened to me lately with Sporstman's Guide. The add says "British manufacture .303 surplus ammo" and the picture shows Radway Green headstamps. Well, guess what I got in the box, much to my surprise, POV headstamped ammo! How is pakistani ammo british manufacture? Anyway, considering thier prices on the ammo, and the deal I got, I just decided to keep it and not raise an issue. Back to your story, I would just call CDNN and ask "What's up?". They have always been a nice place for me to deal with.

CDNN has treated me right every time. But my friend never got his order of Glock mags (he will never buy again from CDNN). I think they might be getting massive orders around the same time before their system can update?

Never had....

a problem with CDNN. I am in Fort Worth so I call them one day and the order is in the mailbox the next.......chris3

I have ordered a fair amount of stuff from CDNN (the last order received a couple of days ago, which included a number of the ProMag Beretta 8000 Cougar 15 rd mags)...

They are great guys to deal with...

I call them one day, the order reaches me in Colorado Springs two days later.

If you have problems, just give them a call and it'll be fixed...

And, by the way, where are the 'cowards...bending to the will of the anti-gunners' stories coming from? I've heard this here on THR a couple of times now, but I've certainly seen no changes from them (including a couple of orders for 'hi-cap' rifle and pistols mags within the last few weeks)...

Just wondering if unfounded rumors are circulating or if something 'real' is going on...

Don't know if it's founded or not, but it comes from the fact that oddly handguns have disappeared from the CDNN catalog, with some claiming that they did it because of VT. Others claiming that they did it for the dealers, so they can resale the handguns with a higher markup.

The catalogs that I'm getting from CDNN certainly have handguns. As a matter of fact, I just received a couple of Steyr M9-A1s from them...

I also just called CDNN and they told me that there have been no changes in any of their sales/shipping policies...

Some of the comments that I've recently heard about them here are pretty slanderous and border on libel...

If questions arise about policies, it's always better to get the answers from the horse's mouth (so to speak)...

My experience with CDNN has been that they have one of the friendliest and most helpful sales staffs in the business, that they have great prices, that they ship immediately, and that they fix problems quickly if any (rarely) occur...

For what it's all worth...

I've had nothing but good experiences with CDNN. People who have actually used their services seem to agree for the most part.

Sorry, Didn't mean to start a CDNN debate here

I took the mags to the range today and actually like the flat bottoms a little better or I couldn't even tell a difference. The flats will conceal a little better too. We'll see what CDNN wants to do about it. I just want to know what I am really ordering next time.

CDNN's Response

Read below. I told them I would just keep them as I like them anyway. I'll be calling all orders in in the future if I buy there again.

""Sorry for the photo mix-up. We only have the 9mm mags with the flat bottoms. If we had them with the finger rest they would be 39.99. We will probably get some in the future, just keep an eye out. With over 2000 items, sometimes things slip thru the cracks and again we are sorry. If you don’t want the flat bottom mags, call Randall at 800-588-9500 and he will arrange for you to send them back. Because of the photo error, we will take care of the shipping charges. The correct photo is now shown on the web site.

Thanks for your business,

Chad
CDNN""

Their online PDF catalog "mysteriously" had the handgun pages disappear. An e-mail about it was not replied to and another e-mail was sent letting them know I'll never do business with them again. Plenty of other places that still advertise without being a Zumbo.

Sweet Heavens To murgatroyd

By the Mighty hands of Squiggles, this burns my butt!

That darned company, offering something not pictured correctly! and then, to offer a refund! What a dastardly company we have here. I for one want them banned, horsewhipped and possibly sent to an Oprah Winfrey re-education camp.

Hehe, at least they are cool about it and offering a full refund.

Fine, don't do biz with them. They decided to take the guns off their PDF catalog. Ok, did they also toss the baby out in the PDF bathwater? Do they still sell mags? I know a TON of companies that just sell accessories.

Bad CDNN, no cookie.

I'm sure CDNN will lose sleep over the fact that you won't buy from them. Get a clue...not every company can be perfect like you. I suppose you are so high and mighty that you never made a mistake. It's a business and people make mistakes. I have ordered so much from CDNN and there was only one time that they sent me the wrong product. They sent me the wrong scope rings for my rifle, but I didn't even bother calling them to report the error. Things like that happen to any business and to hold a business to a higher standard is just silly. There are some great deals offered from CDNN, so I will continue to buy from them.

CDNN, Great Customer Service

Read below Gents. CDNN is good on my list. They're sending me 3 finger rests free of charge. Just a note here. I realize peolple make mistakes and I was very polite about the entire issue. Either way I would have been fine!

Sounds good, the boss actually found 3 finger rest bottoms and we are sending them out to you. Good luck and we look forward to your business in the future.

Chad,

Thanks for the response. I shot the 3 mags today and actually liked them the same or better than the mags I have with the finger rests. No big deal this time. I'm going to keep them and chalk it up as "lucky". I think I'll call to order next time to double check.

Thanks again

As a customer they send me a catalog via snail mail. I just got the 2007-3 in the mail last week and it had all the handguns you'd want to see. So what if you can't see the handguns on the PDF, you can't see them on the on line store either. Get over it.

Sounds to me like they have excellent customer service. I would do business with them just from the 2 email examples above. Their prices are very fair also.

The thing that I don't understand is them taking the handguns out of the online catalog. You would think that if they sold a product that they would want to advertise it. From a business perspective, that doesn't seem like a very good move. People have been suggesting that it was them caving in to the antis. I have heard other reasons given but none of them seem to make any sense.

It really is a strange thing. Customers have to request a print catalog from them to see the handguns. That costs them money to print. It also costs them money to mail. This really doesn't make any sense to me. Obviously it's their right to put online whatever the heck they want. On the other hand, if they removed the handguns from their website for political reasons then of course some people might be angry with them and choose not to do business with them. There are many people on this forum who do not do business with many different companies for political reasons. Seems fair to me. We are the consumers and it's our money to spend where we want. Heck, plenty of people are boycotting Cole's Gun Shop as we speak for a similar thing.

Bashing strat81 really isn't fair. If what he states really is true, it is perfectly understandable for any of us to be upset with them and choose not to do business with them. I'm really curious about this. We need the facts. Anyone have any credible info?

My admittedly limited experience with CDNN has been good as well. I am puzzled by the removal of the handguns from the PDF though. I just downloaded the catalog and see they have removed the pages containing handguns. I actually also have a copy of the PDF I downloaded earlier that contains handguns. If they keep them in the physical catalog I'm not too concerned about loosing them in the PDF. I would be perturbed about loosing them in the paper catalog as I enjoy checking the handguns out each month.
