A follow up to someone else's poll on most rounds through a rifle. That was about the rifle. How about the shooter? Which rifle do you have the most trigger time with? Not necessarily your "favorite" but for ammo cost/cleaning/accuracy considerations you seem to shoot the most often.

I said centerfire to avoid the #1 choice being 10/22!

You didn't include my category!

Shrinkmd--There is no place in yr poll to vote for "it depends!" I do projects on guns, where I will shoot one gun a lot, while developing a load for it, or testing various sights on it, for example, and then put that one aside and on to then next project. Eventually I get around to all of 'em.

Chose other, because my Mauser aint an 8mm. Pistol Caliber carbine may surpass, but I don't count that:)

the brand i shoot the most is remington, but i don't have any idea which particular one it might. some have never been fired, and some have thousands thru them.

second would be one of the ar-15's - probably the scoped one.

I went with the ak because it is so fun and ammo is pretty cheap, and it shots extremely well to be an ak. now as related to work i have alot of trigger time with the m16 series of weapons, being a rifleman, which isn't saying much because we don't get near enough trigger time in the army, but i do go to the pow range every weekend and shoot my own guns, you have to keep your skills up and you can't depend on the army to do that for you.

My Marlin 1894C in 357 gets shot the most, the Win 70 in 7mm-08 is done with load development and I shoot to be ready for Deer season, which means only once in a while.

Voted SKS, as that's highest of the listed guns.

However, I shoot my 9mm Hi-Point carbine a bit more, although you may not consider that a "centerfire rifle".

It’s my NEF .44 Handi Rifle because I am still looking for that magic combination of powder and bullet that will make the darn thing shoot consistently! Grumble, grumble! :banghead: It actually has been a lot of fun looking for it. I’ve probably had more enjoyment messing with that barrel than the ones that shot good right out of the box with whatever I stuffed in the back of them.:uhoh:

Interesting

Looks like ar-15 is most popular, so far.

For the moment I am on the Mosin bandwagon, biggest bang for the buck. I have the Mojo on it, so at least I can practice my aperture sight shooting. Of course, since it is easier than using the original sights, there is actually less "practice" using them. They really are easier to use.

Over the last two years, I've flung more 303 Brit downrange out of one particular No4Mk1 than all of my other rifles combined - somewhere in the order of four thousand rounds of handloads.

Right now, it's my Enfield Number 4 MK1*, trying to work up a good handload. Normally, it would be my Yugo SKS, followed by my Babushka Thunderboomer, my Mosin M-38.

My SKSes, closely followed by my M1 in 7.62x51 when we're talking "rifle' calibers. Distant third is my ss Mini-30.

Leading the SKSes in absolute volume of ammo by a slight margin are my .357 carbines - a Rossi 92 and an IMI Timberwolf.
