Has anyone else had problems with Century? First, I had to spend half a morning on the phone being bounced from department to department, before I finally got someone who could check the serial number of my PSL to make sure it was legal.:banghead: Then, I tried to place an order online, and they never sent me a notice about their new "waiver" policy, I had to call after a week and a half to find out what was going on before they even e-mailed me the waiver.:scrutiny: Then I fax it to them, and they tell me they still won't ship my order because they said the ID wasn't legible enough (not my handwriting, the ID). :banghead: I finally got fed up, and told them to cancel, I'd order from Interordnance. Has anyone else had similar problems with Century International Arms, or am I just unlucky?

You ain't the only one. There is a member here, Nomad, 2nd, who ordered two WASRs in 5.45x39 and 60,000 rds of ammo from them. They managed to screw it up royally, including, IIRC, sending the wrong caliber of AKs, shipping ammo to the wrong place, etc. And gave very bad customer service, to boot.

I won't do business with Century Arms until they clean up their craptastic act. They are a bunch of idiots who think they can get away with running a business by treating customers poorly, and Nomad's experience with them shows that they treat all customers the same, no matter how much money they are spending...

I'd ask if you are new but I can just look at your join date.

Yes, Century leaves much to be desired.

Positive first purchase

I just completed my first purchase from Century Arms and i was very pleased. I purchased 5 mosin nagant pistols and 1 CZ 52 pistol. I was pleasantly surprised that the company is having a free shipping offer even up to Alaska where i live. When i called J&G Gun sales i was quoted shipping of $190 2nd day UPS. Shipping was going to cost more than the guns did. The guns arrived from Century as advertised and in a very well packed box. Saved $200 over J&G Gun Sales
I used to live in Prescott, AZ where J&G has their store. I visited many times and was impressed with the store. I'm not angry at the company, just the price of shipping up to Alaska. It's always an added bonus when a company will honor free shipping to all 50 states.

Doing a search on THR for the terms 'drunken, monkeys, century' gives 40 hits. Draw your own conclusion.

I have an 03 FFL and have purchased lots of rifles from on-line dealers. I gave up on Century a long time ago.
