Do any of you have experience with the Century Arms C-15 Rifle? I've been told it has a new lower receiver and that the rest of the parts are Colt manufactured. My cost is $570 plus shipping and 7% sales tax. Is this going to be a good buy on an entry level AR-15 type weapon? Mr. Bush's stimulus package check is burning a hole in my pocket and I need to spend it before I end up using all of it in buying ga$oline for my vehicles ( $115 in the last 2 days!!!). Thanks for the input in advance.

They are probably decent shooters but will never have a high value because of the Century stamp on the lower. OF course, you could get a different lower and then the world would never be the wiser.

The lower receivers and fire control group are DPMS manufacture and one owner said the bolt carriers are Colt M16 that have been crudely machined to AR15 specification.
The rest of the upper receiver is a mix of used Colt and FN A2 parts.

Receivers are good, if the bolt carrier is crude, I would replace it with a High Standard and you should have a good shooting rifle.
