Century's G-3?

Well, I have been looking around for a new battle rifle, and I very much like the looks of the Century G-3 clone. (No flames here, I've just abandoned the idea of building a new M14....besides, I just graduated BNCOC, and my wife said I could get one as my graduation gift/birthday present......LOL)

So, does anyone here have any experience with them? I have heard spotty reports about Century's guns, but I haven't actually seen any problems myself. My dad recently picked up a Century FAL, and FWIW, it performed quite well. So let me know, good or bad.

I've been looking at the Century FAL and G3's myself. And I keep hearing the same things you do - if you get a good one it's great, but it's hit or miss as to whether you'll get a good'un or a bad'un. Then you start the process of shipping back to Century to have things fixed. Keep us posted on what you find out.

I've heard the Centuries are getting better.

But, have you considered a PTR-91?

Costs more, but you'll get a better deal than what the angry monkies at Century can cobble together.
