I have a local gunsmith that does cerakote. I had him do my RIA Tactical last summer. It's kind of a range gun, but I didn't like the huge roll mark on the slide and I wanted a few other thinks tweeked. The finish has held up well so far. One thing to consider is the experience level of the person doing the work. It is a pretty good way to get a firearm refinished without breaking the bank. Also, my guy recommends not using the bright colors, he says they can actually discolor due to powder residue.
