My Cetme has a trigger pull in the neighborhood of 12-lbs...what to do? :banghead:

I'm located in Columbus, GA, if you know of any nearby good gunsmiths...

How handy are you?

Having never futzed with a CETME before, I used these instructions and tore mine down, cleaned manufacturing dirt out of it, buffed the parkerizing from the sear surfaces and reassembled to find a much nicer trigger for my trouble.

Hardest part was getting the small spring (item #6) into position while putting the hammer back in.

Disclaimer....I was a Xerox field tech for many years and am used to working with small parts put together in complex mechanisms. It might be a real bear if you've never worked with mechanical stuff before.

Williams trigger

Check out williamstrigger.com They put an excellent trigger job on an HK91 for me several years ago. I only had to ship the trigger group,at that time, making things vey simple.
