is there a flash hider / compensator for the cetme, what about a scope and bipod???? Can I make a 300 dollar cetme into a capable gun longer ranged than my saiga 223???

If you buy a CETME from olympic, it should come with a fixed muzzle brake. It is a great caliber (.308) for longer range accurate work than your saiga, but it'l come down to personal preference. I love my CETME. For $300, you can get one that probably will be a real great gun.

What does CETME stand for? Is it the manufacturer or a type of rifle? Thanks Tim

I think CETME stands for Centro de Estudios Tecnicos de Materiales Especiales, or Center for the Technical Study of Special Materials. The semi-auto is the CETME Modelo C or CETME Sporter

Do they all come with wood furnature, or are any sold with black synthetic stocks?

You can get 'em either way. I think AIM Surplus has both wood and plastic in stock now.
