Hey all, got a question. On the Ruger MK II's and/or III's that are designated as Target/Competition models have Bentz chambers with the tighter demensions? It matters in as much that CCI Stingers and Quik Shok .22 LR ammo is NOT recommend in non- standard chambers. thank you!

Thank you for the correction, have fixed the NO to NON- , my appologies

I don't get the question. Are you asking if those models have the Bentz chambers? And what is with the double-negative in "not recommended in no standard chambers"? My Mk-II has "standard" chambers, and digests Stingers just fine. Are you asking if those rounds should not be used in non-standard chambers? That, I don't know.

As far as I know, all of the MK series pistols have standard cut chambers and should handle just about any 22lr ammo just fine.

I believe that Ruger .22 pistols have standard chambers, but some gunsmiths use the pistol as a platform to make custom match guns, and in the process rebarrel them with new barrels with tighter chambers. It is expected that only match-grade ammunition will be used in these.

The Ruger MKIII's do not have barrels with Bentz chambers installed from the factory. It should shoot any .22LR ammo.

The difference from the factory is the trigger, sights and barrel weight, but not the chamber.
