Changes to Ohio CCW laws?

Hey everybody...

Anybody hear about any recent changes to OH CCW laws? One of my buddies emailed me saying they changed something... like possibly removed the stupid "must be in locked glovebox" rule.

He didn't cite any particular stories/links and I can't find anything online.

Anyone else hear anything about this? Just wondering. Thanks!

Removes requirement for "plain sight", locked glovebox, or locked container while in automobiles.

Preempts local gun bans, bans on CCW, bans in parks, etc.

It was passed last week. However our corrupt governor has promised to veto it. Where the legislation stands now is ambiguous. There isn't even agreement on whether Gov. Daft has even officially received it.
