Changing AR funiture

Is changing the AR stock and handguard easy to change?
Or should it be left to the professionals?
What does it require and how hard is it?

Very easy. Search Arfcom for all kinds of good info.

Stocks and grips are super easy. Handguards or rails are a bit tougher, but not hard.

The handguards are supposed to come off for cleaning. Those don't require any toolds to remove.

The stock and pistol grip require a screwdriver.

There are springs under both of them so read the TM before ripping into it to avoid surprises.

Though the handguard removal tool makes it much much easier.

All are easy to do. as far as hand guards my m4 style took some effort on the D-ring to get off but while in the Marines doing drill sometime we could sometimes slap them loose on our worn m16's.

Pistol grip and stock like posted before is just a screw each, now if you talking about free floating then you will need some tools but not much. Multi Tool vice block, and torque wrench should do it.
