This is from a Florida station in Orlando reporting on a robbery in Melbourne.

Those have got to be the most ignorant bimbo talking heads on television today. Does their daddy own the TV station? How could such idiots get a job otherwise?

Ooooohhhh...that's a really big gun you have their Mr Robber. Can I stroke it? Mmmmm....it's a large gun, isn't it? Do you know how to use it? oooh. Big gun, big gun, big gun aaahhhhh!! yes! yes! yes!

Wow...just...wow.
Exploding pointy bullets, even a scope (vital for targets up to and including 2 feet away)!
I hear one shot from a SKS will level 3 city blocks!

I got made fun of and otherwise harassed when I pointed this out to my dad and brother but....

THE SKS IS NOT AN ASSAULT RIFLE!

Sorry for the size, just had to get that off my chest...*breathes deep*

"as you can see these bullets are very pointy"

"this is smaller than the actual bullets, which are about 3 inches long"

last time I checked the sks is 7.62x39, and 39mm is NOT 3 inches.

I'm going out to my garage right now to make sure none of my 7.62X39 has the exploding tip. I'd hate to be responsible for leveling a whole block of Atlanta. :banghead:

Be sure to let us know if you find any.

Let us know if you find any 7.62x39 rounds loaded up with 3" long bullets, too.

Thanks.

I guess these reporters went to the same school as the ones that reported the 22mm shell casings at the shooting scene the other day.

a 3" bullet would be twice as long as the case of a 7.62X39!

Then again, I'm sure they were referring to the entire loaded round as a "bullet".

A 7.62X54 is right at 3", (which still wouldn't be the right ammo).

What a let down! Reading the post before the vid loaded I was expecting Atomic Annie or maybe a Paladin Howitzer. Not very man portable but that's my definition of a "big" gun.

Ahh, yes, it's a "pretty big gun indeed" better watch out for those 'pretty big guns', they might get, ya. :D

Ah, the ignorance, oh the humanity.

TnRebel: you robbed me!:what: I thought I was going to see some real bimbos instead of two middleaged women!!!! I think both must be phallicly challenged from their comments:eek:

The video doesn't work for me. I get some brunette in leather coat staring off into space in front of a police station. Not video, not sound, all I get is a still picture.

I have a wicked fast cable modem so it's certainly not my connection.

I saw the report as well. a PD spokesweasel stated that "the man obviously figured he had nothing to lose since he did not make any attempt to cover his face"

Hey, how about he was just some whacked-up loser who was jonesing and decided to hold up the minimart with a rifle?

Yeah, things might have turned out differently if that rifle had a bayonet lug and a thumb-hole stock! ;)

Dumbest Broads

I'm still laughing...
They need a third dipsey doodle and they could be modern day Stooges. What a pathetic performance, not even High School level, but between Kindergarden and Elementary School. "Really BIG" is the only adjective the pair can come up with... The pair demonstrate for the world just how ignorant they are... "Pointy bullet" Exploding! and the Bimbett standing with the round in her hand is precious. Hey boneheads, How about terms like Intimidating, Threatening, or Retarded Criminal, but then those would be perjoritive terms, can't have that.

KKKKFL

Have there ever been any HE rounds made for the AK/SKS series of long arms?

I don't recall seeing or hearing of H(igh) E(xplosive) projectiles loaded in the 7.62x39 rounds...haven't even heard of any Armor Piercing loads in that cal, either.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeshhhhhhhh

Not saying those rounds don't exist, just never saw/heard of any in 7.62x39
