Has anyone seen powder stuck in the drain spout after emptying powder from the hopper? I shined a light inside the drain spout and there was powder stuck to the side of the spout. Probably amounted to about .1 to .2 grains. If that were to happen to go in a container of a different powder do you think it would cause major problems? I will be checking this every time I empty the hopper from now on.

After I run the tube empty, I use a pipe cleaner. Any powder catches on the bristles. Do not leave powder in hopper overnight.

I hate to say it, but:
Read the manual.
They gave you a brush for a reason.
1) Put a catch container by/under the measure to catch the powder as it comes out the spout.
2) Set dispenser to 99gn and have it dispense the powder out of the Archimedes Screw
3) Use the brush to work remaining powder down and out of the spout.

In addition to the brush that came with Chargemaster, I also use the gentle air blast from the can of Dust Off.

After emptying the tube at 99 grains 'Dispense' like noylj, I remove the hopper and blow a soft blast backwards down the tube, then blow a soft blast down the powder drain spout.

It's much easier to get it all cleaned up when you pull the hopper.

Just be gentle with the platen and load cell underneath it. Don't jerk that load cell around.
