charter arms 30/06

i never knew this company made any rifles,it looks new,synthetic stock,nice scope,didnt see maker,smooth bolt,looks never shot, in 30/06 but for 200.00 for a 30/06,anybody ever shoot one.

Why do you think Charter arms made it?

because it says charter arms 2000 "field king"stamped on reciever/barrell,it, i just found a write up on it from gunblast from early 2000"s says it came from factory with a, er shaw barrell,only made a few years then mossberg bought the actions or something.

i have never mastered the picture thing,my daughter helped me once,shes working now, if i could get on gunblast.com and get in their archives at the bottom if you scroll from 2009 down to 2000 it shows it, i know it"s a pain in the tail end,the rifle did shoot good in that review though.

Missunderstood your original post - "Didn't see maker". I see now you were refering to the scope. My bad.

thanks nc smitty thats the rifle ,except mine being 30/06 instead of .270,maybe i didnt do to bad for 200.00 after all. no problem 351winchester..thanks.

They make American made firearms that can reliably hit you in the guts at 10 yds or in the eye at 100 yds.
Good for them.

I bought one years ago for a price I couldn't refuse. It's only had one trip to the shooting range when I sighted it in. I don't remember exactly, but it shot very good groups. Mine has a 20" stainless steel ER Shaw barrel with a compensator. The scope is a 3x9 Burris.
