does anyone know of videos or step by step pix for removing the Charter Arms trigger assembly from the frame so the hand can be replaced? also how about firing pin replacement?

Thanks

I'm trying to not spend $50 plus parts, plus labor, plus shipping to and from.

Unless you have some gunsmith experience under your belt?

You take it apart and you will be sending it to them in a zip-lock bag to put it back together anyway.

But, who am I to judge if you can do it or not????

I will say I have put more back together then I have taken apart.

The $50 charge covers the labor and return shipping, so it's not as much as you think.
Parts are extra and shipping to Charter is at your expense.

I'm going to have them do what I need. I took the gun apart just to see.... that was the easy part, but without special tooling such as jigs and fixtures it was a sob to get back together.

Excellent thread, Thanks for starting it JERRY!

I have 2 Bulldogs and, sooner or later, I was going to be taking them apart (I dis-/re-assemble almost everything I own eventually, if only to inspect the mechanism/design).

I think that I will now place my Bulldogs on my short Leave Well Enough Alone list. ;)

My favorite line?
