CHARTER ARMS OFF DUTY QUESTIONS???

Does anyone know what year my Charter Arms Off Duty in .38 Special was manufactured, the serial number is 996561? Does anyone also know where I might be able to get a Manual for it also? I have had this 38 for at least 30 years but can't remember where or when I bought it. Thank you, 74man

I called Charter about my vintage Undercover. They were glad to give me the info I needed.
Also these days I'm pretty sure most gun manufacturers will supply you with a manual, no problem.
