I'm looking at shooting sporting clays, probably only a few times/year so I dont want to spend a ton. Some of the O/Us on CDNN look like good prices. I'd like a 12, but would consider a 20. There are a few 20s I didn't list here. I'm not worried about being the best, this is just for a few fun trips with the guys.

Lanber 2087 for $449 (a few blems it says)

Charles Daly NRA limited edition for $599

CZ Bob White SxS for $499 (just throwing that out there because I've always loved a SxS)

I've looked locally for a decent used one but have not had much luck. Frankly, I'd rather buy new unless I know the seller or trust the shop. $20 transfers at my local FFL. Any advice on these or others? Thanks!

Cool, thanks. Love to hear that the cheapest is the one to get!

I'll ask them if the blem is worth saving $100. I'm not THAT picky but I don't want it to look beat up when I buy it.

Ordered. Thanks everyone!

Now it's time to save up for that Saiga 12...while I hope prices come back down.

+1 on the Lanber

But, I'd call them back and change your order to the 2097 Sporting. The 2087 is for hunting and is lighter weight, made for carrying alot and shooting a little. The 2097 Sporting is what you want for clays.

I considered the 2097 for that reason. The weight difference is not THAT big. And I don't mind a good kick :p

If I was taking it out every week I may feel differently...but I figured I could just save the $100.

thanks for the input though!

Who sells the Lanber ? Is there a site I can go to, to check prices on differant models ?

Thanks C55
