Cheap FFL transfers in Houston area?

Can anyone recommend an FFL with a cheap transfer fee in the Houston area? I'm looking to buy a rifle online soon.

Don't know what qualifies as "cheap" but Martini Hardware 7145 Lawndale 713 926-7466 is who I've used for the past five years. They charge me $20. Good folks and a great old fashioned hardware store that is very well stocked.

I change at Tactical on South Mason road off I-10 near Katy.

$35 and they are always prompt.

If ever in Bryan/College Station, try Lightning Tactical. With a Tx CHL transfers are only $10 and the guy is nice.

Depending on what part of town you're in, I use a guy named Larry Butcher. He's in the Bellaire area. $20. A real nice guy.

I ended up going with 10ring.com. My guns haven't got here, but it is supposed to be $35 for the two of them.

On the far north (FM 1960 - Steubner Airlilne area) try Houston Gun Forum. I believe they charge $10 for CHL holders and $5 if you're a HGF supporter.

OK, today it's called Veterans Memorial but I lived there too many years calling it Steubner Airline.
