Hi All,

I am a newbie on THR...I tried searching for a thread about cheap glock mags. I saw a few days ago but wasn't able to find it. Can anyone suggest a place for cheap ones. The thread said they were 3 for $55 (genuine glock)?

thanks!

You can probably get the Korean ones from CDNN or Centerfire Systems around Christmas for $6-7. I just got a Glock one for $20 and the 33 rounder for $31 from Midway. I am sure there will be good deals on Glock factory ones in a few weeks.

Have to agree with locnload above, for the price difference between an unknown, generic magazine that will fit a GLOCK & a factory GLOCK mag...why bother? If factory mags were $45 I could understand paying attention to the aftermarket offerings, but when the OE models are cheap enough at $20, the decision (IMHO) seems easy to make.

A buddy of mine bought 4 cheap mags for his Desert Eagle at a gun show. They didn't work right. Beware!

Botach
There are mixed reviews on Botach. Beware.

You might do a search on here...."

I ordered four Glock mags from Botach...great communication, and very fast, free shipping.
Couldn't be happier with Botach.

I am as cheap as the next guy...maybe cheaper. But I have read enough mixed reviews on the Korean Glock mags to make me stick to OEM. And, if you keep an eye on the classifieds, Glock mags show up in used excellent condition all the time...often, three or four for a good price.

For my G23

... what amd6547 said! I bought several G23/22 mags from Botach and have to say what amd6547 said.

I understand economy as well as anybody, but since the primary rule about a gun is that it work every time, the words "cheap" and "magazine" simply don't belong together.

Yep, 100% agree. But their ARE people in this world who buy "Jennings" pistols and feel (somehow) safer. Seems smarter (IMHO) to drop Cable TV for a year & buy quality defensive gear than to watch TV every night and try to "save money" on something as serious as a handgun (or it's components, or it's belt, or it's holster, or ammo, or training).

A note on CDNN, I did manage to catch a pretty good sale a while back. They were offering police trade-in / used Glock mags for $10. I managed five G19 mags, not Gen4, but Gen3 (they just don't have the ambi- cut in the front). Genuine article, not aftermarket or Korean.

Just a thought, keep watching to see if they have a sale, then load up.
