i just bought two rough riders and thought i may get a few extra parts for them, however after a chat session with heritage the prices are too steep, numrich is even higher. i asked for a hammer spring, trigger spring, hand and spring, and bolt. i was told $80.71 for them, good grief i can get another gun for a little more. anyone else know of spare parts at a better price? thanks

ebay often has parts kits from striped guns. Good place to shop for spare parts kits. Good suggestion from LoonWulf.

If you have a lathe, you can make your own coil springs.

Ive seen guys make twist jigs for coil springs as well, Ive never tried to do one tho.

There is a seller on Gunbroker called Gunbusters 63005 that sells gun part sets--they sell the rest of the gun parts as a unit where the serialized receiver has been destroyed (maybe guns that the police seized or factory returns?) but if you use the search term "parts gun" you will usually find them with extensive listings along with a bunch of not so useful hits (over 20 pages or so most days using that term).

"...good grief i can get another gun for a little more."

The ultimate spare parts kit.

Yeap, much cheaper to buy a car than to go to local car dealer, buy parts and put one together!
This is why you see so many old gun parts on ebay, parts bring more money than the shooting gun! Notice you don't ever see the reciever (with serial #). It is covered by 68 gun control act and requires an FFL to sell it.
And on and on!
