Any places that sell 80% receivers for less than finished lowers?

This place sells complete lowers for $180(US)

This place sells unfinished hunks of aluminum for $220 (Can)

What's the disconnect? The purpose is to enhance knowledge of the equipment, and save money. Market principles dictate that someone must be satisfied with less than a 300% profit margin out there. Anyone know who?

Page 35 of the 2009 DSA catalog has unfinished, unmachined forgings for $28. Definately not 80%, but if you're interested in enhancing your knowledge of the equipment, you'll learn even more from these.

Here we go, found them on their site: http://www.dsarms.com/Lowers--Uppers/products/59/

That's more like it though, thanks. Any idea which jigs work to complete those?

check out www.AR15plus.com. I don't know how cheap they are, but they have 80% forgings and sell all the gigs to finish them.
