Just as the title says what is the cheapest possible all new parts complete build. If possible post a link to your kit or assembly of choice. I'm looking to build a backup/loaner gun not looking for a match or race gun build just a decent standard style AR. Please no posts about buying quality or you get what you pay for. :DHave fun and lets see if we can pick and choose and get it under :neener:$400 LOL:neener:

Cheaper than $456? I dont think so, and I am one cheap SOB so I have been looking. I think I may have seen some for $400 in the Shotgun News, but I find most of those outfits to be sketchy.

Model 1 Sales has a bazillion rifle kit but Del-Ton beats them by about $30.

I've dealt with Del-Ton in the past and they have always been top-notch.

Nothing against del-ton but, ive built two ARs from modle one kits and have run 100rnds thru one and 400rnds thru the other without a malfunction. Ive heard enough good things about del-ton where I wouldnt be skeerd to buy either from either one.

I seriously doubt you can get one for under $400. My guess is that it shouldn't be too hard to get one for $450 or $500 though.

My two AIM surplus $59 lowers arrived yesterday....

My problem is what two uppers I want to build...

I am thinking 9mm or .204 ruger or 300 whisper or a dissy.
For a dissy I want a 16" 1:7 twist barrel with a mid length gas system...hbar with lowprofile gas block and a free floating handguard.... Probably the same set up for the others except for the .204 where I'd get a 20" bull barrel. If I go 9mm I will later get a dedicated lower for it.
