Where can I get the lowest priced CETME or HK91 clone? Most the time when I find a good priced one, the place that had 'em is out of stock.

Unless you can actually shoot at least 100 rounds through the rifle before you lay your money down, take some advice from someone who has been there and done that.
Don't buy cheap.
You will get better value and a lot less headache if you save your pennies and buy a PTR-91 or a genuine H&K91.
ALL the rest are hit or miss, and most all are big misses.

I'll second that sentiment.

I had a Century G3 clone (C91) that I bought back when they were $299 and was reliable but was a huge disappointment on every other criteria (fit, finish, accuracy, etc). I sold it and got a PTR91. Very pleased.

Thanks TexasRifleman, I didn't know about that. It's good to see that the quality hasn't gone down or anything.

It reads like a simple infusion of investors with the original guy, Jose Diaz, the JLD in the old company, still involved in all the manufacturing.

Not trying to be a naysayer, but you CAN get a decent CETME without it being treated like a roll of the dice. Just look at the bolt gap and bolt face before you buy (you can measure bolt gap with a piece of paper), and spend a couple of minutes physically examining the cocking tube and receiver welds. That'll pretty much tell you what you need to know.

I have bought two CETMEs for less than $500/each and they are solid, reliable, and accurate shooters.

I gave $325 out the door about a year ago for a Cetme someone had spraypainted with green Krylon, including 4 Cetme (not G3) mags.

Brand new wood stock set, including metal pieces: $25
Stripping the green paint and Duracoating it in Socom Black: $90

All total, I have around $440 in it, and it's a very reliable, accurate little gun. I did get lucky, but like rbernie said, good Cetme's can be had.
