Surefire mags aren't nearly as cheap as standard AK mags, FWIW. YMMV.Or just use SureFire or Master Molder mags and not have to install the bullet guide. Counts as 2-3 parts as well.
... but if you don't plan on filling your utility room with "SHTF mags", their price may be more attractive to Saiga owners who only plan on having a few mags versus the cost of having a bullet guide installed.strat81 said:Surefire mags aren't nearly as cheap as standard AK mags, FWIW. YMMV.
Your Saiga will have to conform to 922r if you use standard military mags in it.Kid A said:Do you have to do anything other than install the bullet guide for them to accept AK mags?
Better to mod the rifle to use any magazine, than mod your small collection so they only they will work in it.rangerruck said:nope, except you may have to dremel the backside of your ak mags a bit...
